meet the amazon...

ever since arriving in bali i have been surrounded with the most beautiful creative energy. one of the sources is leanna, who is not only an inspiring photographer (who has a way of making you feel naturally beautiful, in front of her lens) but a gentle, fee-spirited, golden amazon.... and i can't wait to share more of our work)

the best feeling....

as i have mentioned before... i am endlessly grateful to have the family that i do. when i try to sum up the feeling my parents give me... two words come to mind:

safe and free

...and i decided that is the best feeling anybody can give.

bad-hair-days

before getting my buzzcut back in vietnam.... and after spending a good amount of time on an island (where the sun and salt water pretty much took care of my bright red locks)..... i found myself having more and more bad-hair-days (despite the fact that i was, at that point, still traveling with my two favorite hair-products.... that i raved about here and here).

anyway... these bad-as turban-wearers inspired me to some turban-creations of my own that i will (of course) be sharing with you sooooon.
