before getting my buzzcut back in vietnam.... and after spending a good amount of time on an island (where the sun and salt water pretty much took care of my bright red locks)..... i found myself having more and more bad-hair-days (despite the fact that i was, at that point, still traveling with my two favorite hair-products.... that i raved about here and here).

anyway... these bad-as turban-wearers inspired me to some turban-creations of my own that i will (of course) be sharing with you sooooon.

while my camera was trying to be fixed, for the third time... (unsuccessfully, incase you were wondering...) all i had was my iphone to take snapshots, while wandering the streets of saigon.

appreciate what you know

even after spending the last 6 months in asia, seeing a palm tree... feeling sand under my feet... and sweating between my boobs in "winter" is still something super special, for this little girl from munich (that is, by the way, the first and last time i will refer to myself as "little"...). a couple of days ago, though i spoke to two lovely ladies form south korea, and asked them what county they would like to visit..... without a second thought the answer was "switzerland." the familial image of the beautiful alps and snow-covered evergreens flashed up in my mind. yeah...... pretty spectacular........

it reminded me to also appreciate mothernatures' beauty that is in front of our door...
